WHAT IS CLIL?
The acronym CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. It is a way of teaching where subject content – for example, maths, history, science or business – is taught in another language.
WHY CHOOSE CLIL?
• CLIL learners develop language skills along with the subject knowledge;
• CLIL learners remember things more effectively;
• CLIL aims to boost creative thinking and self-confidence;
• Students learn about concepts, theories, and methods in particular fields/subjects;
• CLIL learners are prepared for studying in another language.
